Less people, more waves! Welcome to the Green Room- October is
definitely green in every way. If you can handle the warm tropical rain
and who can complain about that coming from the dismal cold rain and
dark days of October? then this is the season for you. Some days it
will be beautiful all day and rain at night. Sure it rains- but who’s
afraid of water coming to a surf camp? You will still be running around
in shorts and flip flops- it is warm! October tends to have less
tourists around, things are a bit chiller, it’s a bit closer to the old
days of Costa Rica before surfing became so big. If you want to feel
more a part of the place you are visiting – this is the best time to
come.
Mid November is the start of summer in Costa Rica. Everywhere is
lush and green as the rainy season is just ending. Dry summer nights
and clear blue water await you. The December session is typically
sunny every day and the wave size is trending smaller.
