james@escaperoute.ca A husband and dad of 4 great kids that started my adventures as a raft guide back in Ottawa. After paddling around Ontario and Quebec I got involved with a tall ship which got me to Switzerland. There I continued my skiing, climbing and sailing. Four years later I returned to Canada and started adventuring in the Coast Mountains. I was hired at the Escape Route in year 2 of the business and after a couple of years wanted to get back to the field and started as a Pro Patroller for Whistler Mountain. This was great, but sales called again and after a few years as a Sales Rep for Sierra Designs, a Sales Manager for Arc’Teryx and VP of Sales for a outdoor gear distributer, I came back to the Escape Route as a proud owner. Life has been good to me. |
